Welcome to SSAA Moonta
The club held its first annual general meeting in 1980 and began with six members. The club has grown to over 130 members 6 ranges, a clubhouse, toilets and a camping area for interclub and state title events. Our ranges include a 200m, 100m metal silhouette, handgun 25m & 50m, action handgun, shotgun and indoor air.
A major focus of the club is introducing people to our wonderful sport of shooting, providing a great facility and safe environment for those of all ages. The sport of shooting is suitable for all ages from 10 years and families are very welcome at our club.
Our club caters for the serious shooter and the shooter that participates for the pure enjoyment of shooting and the social interaction with likeminded people. Three of our past Moonta members have proven to be top shots Will Godward, Brenton Pollard & Brian Trenwith competing at World Cups & Oceania Championships & Will at the 2012 London Olympics & 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
